Is there something you’ve wanted to be freed from, and yet freedom seems like a distant mountain you can’t climb? I use to feel the exact same way.
The Bible says that these signs will follow them that believe; casting out devils, speaking in new ways, healing and restoring lives everywhere we go. You know what this means? It means that YOU are the only one that limits you!
Walking boldly
We cannot afford to hold back anymore. Say this: “No one limits me, especially not God.”
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
What would it be like for you to walk boldly with the Lord and to be unafraid to destroy the devils plans? How can you light up the world if you can’t even light up your own mind?
You cannot allow that kind of limit to manifest inside you. You must walk out what God says without fearing man. You cannot afford to walk this planet without a sound mind.
That is the very way the Bible says we are to represent the father; with a sound mind. BE that someone who hears God’s voice and who isn’t afraid to follow it.
Who are you listening to?
Jesus said his sheep will hear and obey his voice. The enemy’s voice is ALWAYS speaking however. He’s the first one to say you’re not good enough, you’ll never measure up, you’ll never get it right. Stop listening to that voice right now.
You cannot afford to walk in this life listening to that or you’ll remain blinded by the world. Stop doubting God’s voice, the voice of the Holy One. That’s God’s still small voice inside and you’ve GOT to stop doubting it. Stop saying its just YOUR thoughts, when its really the voice of God’s Holy Spirit.
Choose to live by two commands
I live by two commands; To love God with all my heart, soul and might and to love others as I love myself. This is my life.
Whenever life gets to be a little “much”, I get quiet enough to worship him. If we grow closer to him every single day, our minds become sound again. I use to make decisions based on love for my husband and children rather than on the love of Christ. How can that be “wrong” you might ask? We had allowed our home to become a flurry of Christian activity rather than live a holy life. We cannot afford to do that any longer, nor can you.
Activities can actually limit you if they are not led by God.
Study, pray, serve the world
Every morning I study, learn and grow with God. I also want to commune, pray and speak the words God gives me as I serve him.
Serving God doesn’t mean just serving him, but co-creating with him to serve the world. I didn’t intend to serve “the world” when I started the Prayer Warriors Facebook group. I intended to have a few of my friends and I stay in support of the 40-day fast I was doing. God had other plans however.
When we commit our hearts 100% to being a son or daughter of our father, we can commune with him every single day. Thanking him, loving him and growing with him daily, its a choice.
We are to live praising the God who gave us life. By doing this we’ll be able to walk in the light of Jesus Christ.
Do you want to be freed?
God wants us to be free from pain. He heals people all the time and restores their lives. If you were to say, “Lord God, right now, I surrender my life to you.
I don’t want to live in unforgiveness anymore. I invite you into my life Holy Spirit. Jesus, I believe you paid the price on the cross for me and you forgave my sins. Thank you for loving me that much. I give my life back to you in Jesus name, Amen.”
God isn’t limiting you
Your father loves you. Sow, water and give life to the seeds he planted in you. What if he could change lives through you?
What if you were to touch just one person today with his love? What if you blessed just one other person in your neighborhood or school? What if the person who waited on you during lunch today was given a larger tip than usual. How would it bless him or her?
